Thank You: Heart Local Art Show!

The Pop-Up Art Show on Valentine’s Day was a lot of fun – thanks, everyone who came!

It was my first group show with two other talented West Seattle artists: My Lemon Pie {Illustrations and Watercolors}  and Summer Night Sky {Jewelry} – our work really complimented each other with lots of organic colors, natural themes and beauty.

Tiny space, but cool venue!

We were fortunate to be showing at the Nature Constortium Offices during the West Seattle Art Walk. Nature Consortium hosted by providing the space, a live musician, and some beverages and snacks, without charging us for the space. Many other venues require  30-40% of sales – so, props to Nature Consortium for supporting local artists! They are a super cool non-profit whose mission is to “Connect people, arts and nature.” They accomplish this by getting people into the woods, restoring green space and engaging youth in programs including an arts festival in the summer.

The best thing about doing a show is having the excuse to print up work. The next is talking to people and seeing what they love. I had a fun time, and look forward to my next show. I’ve applied to a few other places, and have my sights set on some other Summer festivals…more news on those when I get dates set.

Since the show ended, I’ve added a few items to the Etsy shop! I have several others to add, but for now, here are two of my favorite:

Thanks again!
