Alki Art Fair here we go!

The Alki Art Fair is coming…July 28th &29th from 10am-6pm!

Please come say hello – there will be framed prints, canvass prints, wood prints and prints of various sizes available for purchase. Something for everyone!

This West Seattle Annual Alki Art Fair is a true community success. It used to be organized by the Seattle Parks Department, but with budget cuts, the fair was going to become a sad loss until several community members stepped up. They created a Non-Profit and organized the whole thing, making it bigger than ever before and more sophisticated with an official selection process for artists to apply.

I couldn’t think of a better Art Fair to apply for than this one for my first “booth show” – and I’m excited to show off some new work. I’ve also branched out to prints on wood. A Portland, Oregon company, Plywerk, creates ready to hang art from Photographs to Paintings. They use sustainably harvested Bamboo and Maple.  Opening my first order from them was like Christmas! They look splendid and provide yet another way for me to get my photographs out and ready to grace a wall in a more modern, simplistic way.

Here’s a sneak peek, and trust me, they look even better in person! Hope to see you there.

A lovely wood print set will be available at the Alki Art Fair.

Bamboo Wooden Prints, a nice side view of layering.

The sustainably harvested wood canvasses are beautiful – here’s a side view of Maple.
