Our house was hit with a bad cold virus, so I didn’t take any photos for almost 2 weeks. I also didn’t leave the house for 6 days. But, since we’re all finally feeling better, I am happy to report that I jumped back into several fun photographic events!
Get ready for a feast of photographs…
$100 Startup Seattle Book Tour Stop: Attending the book tour stop brought me to a sight of the memorial from Seattle’s recent shooting. I was moved by the notes and fresh flours left by others. The sight hit home the message of the book: do something you love.
Chris Guillebeau gave an opening talk…
Make A Wish School Run: My son’s PE Teacher ran 61 laps or just over 10 miles with the entire school starting with him to raise money for Make A Wish Foundation. It was tearfully inspiring. About 50 students finished the 61 laps with him. My son made it to 41!
Pregnancy is beautiful:
Dude! I want pregger pics. Hook me up Holli.
Ha! Of course:) Let’s talk about what you want and nail down a date!
Love the pictures from The $100 Startup stop in Seattle, especially the first one: That is me with Chris! So random, I was just looking for pictures to put in a blog post where I am interview Mr. Guillebeau and ran across this one, what are the odds!! Love the words and photos, take care.
Awesome! Nice to meet a fellow non-conformist in the blogosphere.
Did you get a chance to interview Mr. Guillebeau outside of the book tour night? If so, I’d love to read it. Feel free to share a link here:)
I actually did a quick email interview with him this past week. Just a few questions on how he got started and some tips for the rest of us to find freedom in our lives. I am going to publish the interview with him this Wednesday, I will post a link here when I do. Thanks Holli, take care!
Would it be ok if I used the photo for my post? I will link it back to your blog post of course. I was there by myself so couldn’t get any shots of me being there 🙂 Thanks.
Re: interview – cool! Looking forward to reading it.
Photo – yes, of course. If you’d like me to email you a file I can, or just download the image here.
Best, Holli
